Create a Social Post

Spectate allows you to post updates to Facebook and Twitter from within the system.

  • To create a new Social Post, click on the Marketing tab on the left, and then click Manage -> Social Posts. The Social Posts screen will appear, showing you a list of posts that may have already been submitted.

  • To create a new post, click the “+Create Social Post” link at the top right. This will take you to the Create Post screen.

  • Enter the name of your post (required, as indicated by the yellow star).

  • Next, select the names of the Campaigns with which you want to associate the post.

  • Enter the content of your post.

  • Select to which social network you would like to post the content. For instance, if you want to post it to a Twitter account, check the name of the Twitter Connector you would like to use.

  • Next, you have to specify when you would like to send the post. From the drop-down box, select “Send Now” if you want to submit the post immediately.

  • Select “Send on a schedule” to schedule the post for a future day and time. Just choose the date from the calendar and enter the time.

  • You can also set up a recurring schedule by selecting “Recurring: send direct message to new followers”.

  • To create and schedule multiple Social Posts at the same time, click on the “+” icon next to Content and enter the post’s body and schedule accordingly.

  • When you’re done, click “Create” to finish posting and scheduling updates.
