What are the different time fields?

When I export a CSV of leads, there are 3 fields that show a date:

  • Created
  • Updated
  • Last Activity

Can you let me know how each of these differ? Is "Created" when the user was first encountered, i.e. when the cookies were first created? And Last Activity is when we last saw them, i.e. the time of the last page load where the spectate tracker is? So what is Updated? Is that the last time they filled out a form?

Or have I got it wrong? This KB page is blank for two of the fields: http://help.spectate.com/kb/leads-and-visitors/exporting-lead-data-...

    You're on the right track.

Created is the date and time that the Lead record was created in Spectate.

Last Activity is the last time the Lead engaged with the system in some way -- e.g. had a visitor session, clicked a custom link.

Updated is mostly an internal field but has to do with when the Lead record itself was last modified. If you go in and manually update a Lead field you should see the Updated date change. I believe a Form Submission by a Lead that updates one of the Leads' fields will also bump the Updated date.

Please let me know if that makes sense.
